Macro Pored Microspherical Silica Gel is known for having high surface area which provides ability to quickly absorb moisture and prevent mould growth. It is most commonly used for making silica packets that are intended to be utilized in packaging industry for keeping physical & chemical properties of packed items safe. In chromatography, silica gel is used as stationary phase and also as cat litter. It also finds application as stabilizer & anticaking agent in food processing industry. Once saturated, Macro Pored Microspherical Silica Gel can be regenerated by heating at temperature of about 120 degrees Celsius. It is considered to be odorless & non-toxic in nature.
